our names, explained...

I'm so into myself that I use my real name: James.

uberjames is derived from the latin phrase "james is the coolest person alive...and also happens to be the greatest source player of all time, ever".
 
Mine is Rush8Nine. In high school I was an outside linebacker and all I wanted to do was go hit the QB so they nicknamed me Rush. 89 was my jersey number so that's how my name came to exist. It used to be Rush89 but I was constantly seeing people with numbers and even a couple with the number 89. So I mixed it up a bit with the nine.

I recall being stuck trying to think of a name for my first xbox live gamertag and because I was heavily into skateboarding, it ended up being zero4life. hah

Glad to know I am not losing my mind as some one the other night kept calling you Sunshine. Sure as shit was not gonna to do likewise but for the life of me, could not figure out how he came to that from your spelling of that nic.

I was listing to that song Dee by Randy Rhoads... and it sounded some what familiar to me... and not from Rhodes's song but from another... then it hit me....... so if you like this song you will enjoy the the intro to this one which is what it reminded me of.....

Yes this is old school... but hay I'm old so what did you expect :D

Sunshine is a running joke I started with @v.Kamikaze when Rush started playing.
 
Oh I forgot to put up my name info... some of you guys know this already but I will put it up there again for those of you not in the know.
So, obviously I am prior military, and my name stems from that. Came up with the name after being selected after completing SFAS (Special Forces Assessment and Selection) if your not familiar with it just go to youtube... they call it 2 weeks in hell... was 24 days when I went through... but that is irreverent. Basically it was a combination of SFAS and my first deployment to Iraq with the 101st Airborne that led me to this name... because during both of those times we would go long times with out a shower... 3 months w/ out one while in OIF 1 and weeks at a time in SFAS trudging through the draws and swampy areas near Ft. Bragg. After awhile with out a shower you tend to build up a residue which would be best described as a pasty thick butter type substance... and a good amount of this accumulation would occur on and around your balls/nuts. There for I decided to call it nutbutter! So for all of those people that think that I just love peanut butter or my favorite cookie is a Nutterbutter... well it couldn't be further from the truth! Disgusting... well yes... but hell after going 3 months with out a shower and contracting a permanent case of the whistling piss ass (yes another disgusting reference... cause all my ass does now is whistle and piss) after eating the local food and gaining some wonderful stomach parasites, not a whole lot seems to disgust me anymore. So there you go!!! Now every time you see my name you can throw up in your mouth... just a little bit. LOL :D
