What's new

our names, explained...

I'm not creative. As much as everyone might assume my first name is Rich, it's Adam. Rich is the first half of my last name.

Ha, reading that back reminded me of a line from Lord of the Rings:
"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

lotr quote.... winrar!

Caspar was the name of one of the maji in Evangellion and was also one of the 3 wise men to see Christ when he was born.

I dropped the C for a G because of the way it is produced in Hebrew and added Col. Because of a 40k series book and my brother is Col. Kraegus from the book

Edit : sometimes I will play with Sgt. Gross... I like doing this because it reminds me of my past and I get to wear my swanky pt shit when I play.. Hooah.... I can't believe I just typed that gay ass word... Ugh they said that all the damn time for the two years I was in the 82nd

There you go

I imagined your name was A. Richman (@A-Rich ).

My name started back in the 7th or 8th grade. Once upon a time, my friends and I played online text-based MMOs (MUDs), and I took on the name Psychocrackheadbob. One of my buddies either during that time or high school talked about a day without Mexicans (or was that me?), and somehow this phrase came to pass: "Jorge, Jorge, grab the lechuga." Psycho + Jorge = El Jorge Loco. It has nothing to do with trains, dead Mexicans or Spaniards, or my mental infirmity.

Oh yeah, some of you older guys probably better remember "Hannah [MONTANA]." This name was actually minor tribute to TonyMontana and a play off an older regular named Gary[MONTANA].

So, there's no relationship to Gary? Ha. I had no idea it was related to Tony at all. Too bad lechuga didn't make it into the name. :)
I also had no clue SFG was involved in @d00b getting his name. Funny stuff.

I used to think Gary and Loco were in a clan together and were from Montana or someshit haha Where did Gary go anyway?!

When i was a little dick-squirt i made my name DiabloZ. which later changed to SlaveRiderZ. then Shortened to SlaVe.

Reason shall remain a mystery
:ilied:

I have never been to Montana, although I hear it is very nice.

Gary comes in once in awhile as well. However, I believe the more important question is where is Tony?

I loved the name Hanzo and yes it is a real person and also a weapon. :p
Hattori Hanzō - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I use to go by the name Dnslayer back in early 1.5, 1.6 and some other FPS games then decided to make up Ghonzo after Hanzo :D.
Btw I know some of you guys might recognize Gonzo the hentai/anime production.... No I did not get Ghonzo from them no matter how many times people ask me.

Wait a minute... did you play under the alias tony montana years ago?? I wonderes where you went!

Man, I wish I had some cool coming of age story, first carnal fulfillment or such, sadly not the case. This will seriously date me for those not in the know as it all started around the time the very first online group FPS game came out. Back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and people got on the internet through a 14.4kbs dialup modem, the first game to offer multiple servers and a ping indication was made for the single player game, Duke Nukem. A secondary company came up with an interface that allowed you to ping known servers and allow multiple connections, that software was called Kali Net. It was pretty damn revolutionary even if the game play was some what archaic, it laid the groundwork for all that has come to pass.

By the time I got the software, some asshat had already taken my usual game tag and was forced to come up with something else. Way too impatient to put much thought into I had a San Jose Mercury newspaper sitting beside my computer and the headlines were for a local mass transportation system they named, "Fast Track". I just melded it into one name and it has stuck for well over... many years :-P
