FIX your rates and get perfect HIT REG!

interp and interp ratio won't adjust. updaterate and cmdrate will auto adjust. i've needed to adjust my interp and ratio several times whenever i'm lagging. you just need to be in spectator mode instead of in-game on a team.

Kami setting your interp to 1 or 0 will auto adjust ur interp accordingly
 
I'm due for my next pro tip post... I'll roll crosshair and map into the same post... Only rates auto adjust down, interp will sit at what you set it to... Now if the server's sv rate can actually hold at 102 that would be a different thing... Poor girl seems to hover in the 40's when the server is bouncing

This only works if you have a fast computer/internet speed but yea i have a autoconfig created for this.

I had forgotten how important adjusting your rates is the CS, in cal-m I had adjusted my rates... and until now I had completely forgotten about them

Here are the settings you need to enter in console to fix them

rate 128000
cl_updaterate 128
cl_cmdrate 128
cl_interp_ratio 1
cl_interp 0


You rate will auto adjust to best match the server rate... 128 will stick to 128... 102 will auto to 102... 64 will auto to 64

if you are playing on a 120hz monitor you will notice some models with kinda slideshow around... this is because interp set to 0 will show you exactly where the hitboxes are... you shoot the model you hit the hitbox

My kdr went from about 1.5 to almost 3.0 after adjusting my rates...

Moar 1337 tips will be posted in series and eventually allow you to get your setting to pro standards

Will try this. Ive been battling with bad reg since i first join the clan. Until now i have play around with those settings. Lol
