FIX your rates and get perfect HIT REG!

I found out why I suck! BAD RATES!!!

I had forgotten how important adjusting your rates is the CS, in cal-m I had adjusted my rates... and until now I had completely forgotten about them

Here are the settings you need to enter in console to fix them

rate 128000
cl_updaterate 128
cl_cmdrate 128
cl_interp_ratio 1
cl_interp 0


You rate will auto adjust to best match the server rate... 128 will stick to 128... 102 will auto to 102... 64 will auto to 64

if you are playing on a 120hz monitor you will notice some models with kinda slideshow around... this is because interp set to 0 will show you exactly where the hitboxes are... you shoot the model you hit the hitbox

My kdr went from about 1.5 to almost 3.0 after adjusting my rates...

Moar 1337 tips will be posted in series and eventually allow you to get your setting to pro standards

I changed my rates a long time ago (to the exact ones above) and the game still performs like crap. You are just lucky

Unless there was an update recently that I missed that fixed something.

Well remember guys, only do this if you have a pretty good computer, your updaterates and cmdrates should not be to far from your FPS. So if you have a shitty comp, I would not try putting it past 100 unless you consistantly stay over 100 fps. or else you will have dropped frames, aka Lag.

TL;DR

Everyone's settings will be different, adjust yours to what your computer can handle.

Go is an easy game performance wise. I get around 200 most of the time. It doesn't help.

your lerp should be slightly higher than your ping. to adjust it, modify your cl_interp (0.00 - 0.10) and cl_interp_ratio (1 or 2).

Stable I think it's likely that the problem is with your machine, not the game. You still do well when you play...

I have issues with the game too but as no one else has the same issue as me, I blame my computer...especially because it all started when I upgraded
