That's the confusing part. I'm running a 7950, a 4th gen i5, a good motherboard, etc. Been through 587794545 hard drives recently. It makes absolutely no sense. Oh, also FIOS 35/35.

There is literally NO reason for it to work so badly.
 
Agreed. My game works worse since upgrading from a core 2 duo and 8800 gts. It's inexplicable but I think the problem is going to end up being hardware or non-game software related...although I'm sure you've searched the issue many times to no avail.
 
I'm sure you have both installed all the correct and updated drivers for everything... Done a fresh install of windows and of the game... And still have problems...

The machine I built for my baby brother had serious display driver crashes... Top end amd cpu and a 7950...swapped the gpu for a nvidia card that was in my brothers and it fixed everything... I wish I could be there to help you trouble shoot bc I can normally fix just about anything on a pc... Post some general specs with model numbers... It might give me something to go on... And this is totally off topic now... Thanks :D

Lol I changed my rates in css to exactly that last night and the first round I played I went 47-23. Thanks for the tip Gaspar you saved the day for me
 
I will be posting more tips tonight... I think I will cover the Map display on GO... how to get it to the PRO settings so you can really see what is going on on the whole map... significantly more tactical

For CSS with the absence of 100tick people in our server should be using something like this

rates 30000
cl_updaterate 60-66
cl_cmdrate 66

interp 0.1
interp_ratio 1 (it will auto adjust and correct it for you if I remember right)
