7 Days to Die Server

Gotta get those spikes and lay an army of spikes to stop their track also having water stops them i heard

We've been trying a lot of different things. The spikes do work better than the barbed wire fences. I've also tried to create a house in the sky, which works if I put one block on the floor and build a foundation on top of it and then blow up the ground around the bottom. However, it's unstable and doesn't always work and will fall apart if you put too much on it. I also tried to create a huge ditch all the way around a house and the zombies do fall into it, but then they just start digging up and don't die from impact. After work today, I'm gonna try to make an upside down pyramid and then build a foundation on top and see if that adds more strength. I like the ideal of having a huge ditch around my house, filled with spikes. Maybe I'll add spikes in the ditch and water on the outside of the ditch.

I do feel like it's impossible to really be zombie proof in the game. They just never give up.

Try making a moat? You can put spikes on the bottom then fill it up with water.

Make a moat and fill it with gasoline. It won't stop them but one match will sure make for some interesting bonfire.

This game is a bit more complex than anything else out there in the FPS zombie genre, it is not a cake walk by any stretch.

I've come to the conclusion that it's impossible to create a safe zone. You can spend all day and night creating an insane fortress and it's like the moment you log off, the zombies just start chipping away at it. They never completely destroy anything you build, but there is always a hole in your defense somewhere next time you log in. I still feel like I may be able to create a floating house, I just need to master location and design. haha

Why not build on stilts... Dug pugi traps that you can jump over... Maybe a 10 foot thick steel wall... Fire pits... Laser sharks... How about a screen shot of what you have built

The trouble is, in this game nothing seems to be invincible. They just have to beat on the stone and steel longer to get through. And when you have fifty to sixty zombies going berserk, at night they run and attack like speed demons, they can rip through stuff pretty damn quick.

Here is us what we've been up to, dicking around... haha

The last three pics are of the one I made today, which is working out pretty well so far.

I like the water bit... Ever thought of making an island with the pugi sticks in the water? Can you make a boat?
