Some crazy shit about to go down in Syria in the next few weeks when western forces get involved. Its a tough situation in a volatile place and time.
I see the arguments for both passive and aggressive diplomacy when it comes to dealing with Assad.
Syria is likely to turn into another middle eastern quagmire without a dictators iron first controlling the populace. Not sure if that's enough to justify letting him stay in power. But need to look no further then stability of Iraq, Libya, and Egypt to see the results of what happens when there is a power vacuum.
I'm interested to see everyone else thoughts on the matter.
