Please recommend me a good gaming headset.
I like Wireless headsets because been using them for 4+ years...but I am open to switch to wired headsets as long as the usb cable is braided.
The mic quality and sound quality needs to be good too!

I've used the G930 for two years and the sound quality has been excellent, they're super comfy over long spans of gaming, plug and play setup is easy. Cons are - Microwave interference, intermittent connectivity (sometimes, it's not as bad as it sounds, usually fixable and doesn't happen often). The battery is now shot now, too, but I got great use for what paid for. 10/10 would by again.

Now I'm looking at the new G930 line and above which offers wireless connection. Wireless opens up a whole new world in terms of sound quality because the bandwidth supports higher frequency (2.4Ghz), and you won't get microwave interference (I should think).

I'd get these over Turtle Beach any day, mainly because their ear cup shape hurts after two hours of game play, but that was back in like 2013 so I'm sure they've evolved since then.

Logitech G Gaming Audio – Headsets and PC Speakers

Looking forward to see what others have and would like to buy. I need suggestions for my next set. Mine are on their last leg (esp after throwing them in rage; one of the ear cups got dc'd from the headset and now hangs by a tether). tehe...

I prefer wired... I have had 2 g930's and the keep d/c on me... so when with the g35. Extreemly pleased with the sound as well as everything else.

I would say avoid any gaming headsets that you can. They are sub-par sound with sub-par mics. Pick up a quality pair of headphones like an Audio Technica or a Seinheiser set and attach a Mod Mic... The only good wireless ones are $299 from Steelseries.. I think the H series

I use to have steel series but that didnt last long. Now I have the hyper X cloud and it lasted for a year with no problems at all very good quality for the price

I went ahead and got the Corsair Void Wireless RBG headset, really good sound quality. Good battery life as well.

I agree. My last 2 headphones were Sennheiser and Audio Technica and both these companies have treated me well. I avoid "gaming" accessories/components unless we're talking about mice and mousepads, and maybe sometimes keyboards!

Yeah thats what I hate about the wired headset the cord tangles and in time will probably just fail.

One of the bigger problems I had with game headsets was they felt like plungers on my ears.
