The 47 Ronin
Im coming back a bit to gaming. Whos still around and wants to play games?

6 years ago I sold my gaming computer, sold my Type R, and moved to the farm with a girl. Still on the farm and with the girl, but find myself with a lot more time. So I frankenstined a gaming computer together (its old but can do some things), and want to get back to it a little. Maybe never the way we were, but back a little.

So whos still playing an what are we playing?

Also, hows everyone been?

Welcome back to 47 Ronin Squad.

Most games are computer intensive, so you need to find games like Dead Cells, Hollow Knight and the new sequel, Silksong. You need to look for 2D games. Most of the AAA games require something like a GeForce RTX 5090, or AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT.

Either that, or find a PS5. Xbox consoles are mostly dead until Microsoft releases a new console or handheld. However, everyone is sour on Microsoft. Ninendo? There's a mixed bag of controversy with the new Switch 2.

nah, the computer i just restored has a i-3 ivy bridge running at 3.4 and 16gb ram and a gtx1650. Runs CS2 fine.... thats all that maters to me! HAHAA

Okay, congratulations on getting a computer that works with CS2. I'm just saying that the current games on the market is asking a lot out of players. Like, some games require more than 16GB VRAM. And I'm not talking about the SDRAM, like, onboard memory. I'm talking like video ram that streams the textures, the heavy lifting graphics tasks. Battlefield 6, and the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 may require less specs, but will require more powerful specs to really take advantage of what the game(s) can offer. Another example is security; both games require TPM 2.0 and/or secure boot. Microsoft owns Activision so they're exacerbating the process.
