That photo is actually interesting. The area where the Bruce Lee statue sits on a boardwalk called Avenue of the Stars (imagine Hollywood walk of fame on a pier).
Everyone was taking photos directly in front of it, but the view behind it is crap, and it's a side shot of Bruce Lee. I thought it was odd no one was taking a photo where I was, which makes a hell of a lot more sense. The HK Island Wan Chai Ferry terminal is off in the background, not some random ugly towers. Also, the angle at which I took it meant I didn't have to compete with anyone.
Even though HK Chinese people are nice, it is a touristy area so a lot of rude mainland Chinese people will hop in front of your photo so that they can get a better angle. Many people were fortunate I was still in zen mode and still not angry enough to do anything. Later on in this trip, people who did that, got my fat ass in their photos for two minutes.
