PC Gaming slowly dying?

PC master race checking in. Love PC over console. But still have console for those games I cant get on PC. Example The Last of Us. Plus I can't pirate games on console :p Argh! Matey!

im with doob, i cant get into consoles at all. the only nice thing is longevity but i get that on a smaller scale from my pc with much better graphics and higher overall performance and use. consoles are for kids and lazy non master race types.

I like consoles but don't really care for playing them for a FPS game.... I used to play them a lot but once I did my first build my desire to play console quickly faded.

How is hardline anyways? I played the beta a few times and it was fun but not sure if it's worth forking out some cash for it.

I for one don't like console unfortunately :( I think the only console I really enjoyed was the gamecube and Wii and Wii U

I remember the first time I played Halo.. on the sexbox.. I just couldn't understand why... it felt dumb.. like super retardo dumb.. all I wanted was a mouse and keyboard. It didnt feel natural at all, it felt like handcuffs being applied subliminaly and I was dumb enough to let them do it to me. The I walked away from that demo machine in the Electronics Boutique and never touched it again. I just look back thinking yea its ok for fighting or side scrolling or top downs... but then I went and bought a gamepad from gravis for my PC and a MS sidewinder stick for Mechwarrior and never looked back. To this day I only got a xbox orig during a garage sale for my kids.. and even regret it as they almost never play it. Just my own experience... hope someone finds it useful.

Back when the first Halo came out, I was full force into Xbox and had never really played on a PC except at my friends house to play 1.6 on dial-up. I loved Halo and Halo 2, mainly for that Goldeneye feeling split-screen fun my friends and I had. Controllers are hard to get back into with FPS, but when that's what you started with, it doesn't seem like you could play with anything else. Halo was and is an amazing game, especially for how advanced and badass it was at the time it came out.
