I saw a post on Reddit a few months back where people would call in to their ISP and say "Why are new people getting treated better than I am when I've been with you for XX long? Am I not a valued customer?" and they were able to continue getting the promotion price. So Charter just bumped my 100mb internet to $59.99 and I can not get on any more promotions unless I cancel and re-sign up.
My question is how to get a better deal and what are you comparable stand-alone prices?

Shitty thing is I live maybe half a block away from a companies boundary for 1 gig fiber for only $49 a month for lifeI know, ppl can only get that for so long. I have been in promo for so many years.
If you have another option (FiOS, u-verse, etc), go for it, otherwise, you'll have to keep calling until you find someone who will give you the promo.
