Improving the CSGO server

money at start of second half has never been given when Ive been playing. regardless i haven't been as active as i should be as of late because i firmly believe the game is a broken game. But 16k at start only brings more scrubs and shitties into the server. the reason it is rebalanced to $800 is simply for the fact of the server is run on the classic competitive style of play. this means if time was not a factor you would play a match, first team to 16 wins, switch sides at 15 rounds.. totaling maximum 30 rounds. but since those matches generally take roughly an hour, map time has been dropped to 20 minutes to keep rotation fresh and you only get roughly 7 rounds per side. The server has been this way for quite some time now and has actually gone up in popularity.. i see no need to change it.

looks like money is the issue... just learn to save... not that hard.

Spent a great deal of time on the CSGO server and came to the conclusion some minor adjustments should be made to improve the server.

CS is already an unforgiving game, what makes matters worse is the shitty pay rate the game puts out. Coupled with the team switch at half that balances everyone to $800 it seems one never has spending money.
The server keeps people playing when there is an admin helping to balance the cash after team switch fucks over a shitty team. But admins are rarely on the way they were in CSS a year ago.

A few simple solutions to help the server keep players.

Make rounds 24 minutes up from 20. this gives people more time to build up funds.

or

Don't bring players funds to 800 at team switch. I never understood having two pistol rounds, especially when you spent the past 10 minutes building up the funds in the first place

or

At mid break when team switch occurs change everyone's balance to $4000 or $5000. It's almost like having an admin on, when there isn't one.
