They are really hit or miss. One time you go through the steak is to die for, the next time it will be tasteless and too much gristle.

Ruth Chris Steak House, is about the best for consistent quality steak cooked the way you ask for. Their prices are a tad high, the quantity a bit smaller then I like but everything at this place is tasty, even coffee and dessert.

my dad always cooked our steaks well done while growing up. i do like mine medium though with a little pink in the middle.

I love it when the middle is hot, pink and dripping with juices.... Mmmm... Steak.... And women... Mmmmm

Ordered a m-rare steak yesterday... Came to me well done... I took the steak to the pick up window and gave it back... Ended up with fish... I want the steak to wince when I cut into it

Hence why I cook my own steak and not go out to buy/eat steak Although with the exception to Houston or Ruth Chris.
