I am leaving tomorrow and headed to Kentucky for roughly a month to build an obstacle course for the Army. We were briefed on the living conditions and I will be in barracks that have no internet capabilities. I will of course still have my phone and will be on the forums.

But the good news is I will return to Gulfport mid - late March, I will be in my own house two blocks from the beach with my own internet connection that I won't share and I will have my new Sager laptop by then!

And for the veterans of the community, I am getting an absurd per diem rate for being 8 hours away from where I'm stationed. I think I'm making more than my friends who are in Cameroon Africa in tents. haha

Honestly, sounds like fun being a part of building an obstacle course. Make sure they build the biggest, baddest and plebe destroyer possible.

Thanks fast. It should be fun, minus the negative temperatures and snow. Ill take some pictures of the whole trip and shall share on the forums!

So there is wifi in the barracks after all, but the best deal I can get is 24.50 a week... Which is bloody terrible, considering how bad the connection is at peak hours. I paid for a week and will use the connection to download all the games I want to play offline on my new laptop when it arrives later this week.

You will of course see me attempt to play CS:S... I did last night at peak hours and it was 450 ping and unplayable. But this morning, at 6 AM PST, there are 10 people in the server... And I played and had 100 ping and no lag. So that's pretty cool!

Anywhey, I've got a base to explore and to freeze my ass off. d00b out!
