They both have the same settings I believe. Was night and day after I fixed mine.

for your 32ms ping, i'd use cl_interp 0.05 and cl_interp_ratio 1... which should give you 50ms lerp

After the last couple weeks of pubbing again I find that my registry is pretty horrible, and I am not talking about my general need to hose. Numerous times from a few feet away and getting zero reg and Glock was saying my interp seemed way off as I had x-hair on target and zero bullets impacting target. Back when I scrimmed some in CS days I had a couple custom configs, scrim config and a general pub config for more players. Since playing on the Ronin servers I adopted the pubber mentality and just played the default setup.
It has been so long I can not recall exactly how I did it before but I believe I had two separate config files I could execute from in the game "exec pubber.cfg" or "exec scrim.cfg". Is this how folks are setting up their custom configs these days? Since I do no scrimming these days and it is all pub play, I would like one config that auto execs when the game launches, suggestions welcome.
Like a few others mention, I have a fairly beastly machine that runs CSS at nearly 200 FPS constantly, yet at times it feels like I am running or turning in quicksand, plus the reg is not that great.
My connection returns about a 45-60 ping with a full server, not sure about lerp will have to check on that later to see what it is running at. With the new ISP I am at least not getting the packet loss I was getting for the last couple years, I would like to make it even better and some registry would be sweet. I might even find myself relaxed enough to get back to tap shooting.

i believe the default config.cfg has a line: exec userconfig.cfg. in my userconfig.cfg, i have it call kami.cfg, which is my custom config. you can store your cfg files in cstrike\cfg, and exec from console anytime.
I was sad when I went to make these changes in my config and they were already there. Guess I suck no matter what
Pretty comical you say this as I too went in last night to get some fresh new reg to only find out my settings were already set to these...
