$2 grand?? Holy cow! Is that what the yearly dmv renewal would be or a one-time thing? My fees are like $150. I'm sure there's a lot of variables (value, location, etc), but I don't move and have had the same car for 18 years, so I'm clueless. :p

Nut, X58 should support the X5670, got one in an ASROCK X58 board. Might not register as a Xeon but should still work, if nut don't want it then $25 Kami.
 
My bad Cut thought it was a different socket.... sure if you don't want it I will be glad to take it off your hands.

Make sure to use your original CPU to update the mobo's bios to its latest before disassemble it to save time.

I am using MSI Live which auto flash the bios so should be good I hope?
