I traded in my 09 Cobalt and got this beauty today! Between car payment and insurance, a brand new truck is only 150 more a month, even though there is a $15,000 difference between the amount I paid for both the day I got them.

I feel the same way. I've changed my car battery, that's about as far as I'd be willing to go.
What's even more ironic, cars becoming more computer-based scares me more.

Oh @A-Rich you would of definitely been concerned for some of the things this year DefCon people did hacking into cars... some crazy shits you can do with equipment under$50 to ruin someone's day and their car.

@Hunter I know what you mean. I used to just change oil, but after the first plunge, I gained confidence. I also learned a lot from youtube videos. I have a spring compressor and other tools you can borrow if you want. Study the video below, and see if you can do it. If you have room in the garage and an extra car, you can take your time. Maybe if you can round up some mechanically inclined 47R guys, I can help you as extra hand as you need it.
