Check this shit out! How the fuck did I manage to find out that this was the problem? HOW?! I dont understand it, pure luck, must have been. I guess this will be my Perm. solution for now XD! Fuck it, it'll work, I dont care. What do u guys think the problem is though? I mean I can wiggle the component and it will flicker the power on but I think thats where its shorting out the mobo is that little circuit there on the inside of that switch.

Looked like the issue is on the Mobo:

U mentioned u overclocked, did u try to clear the C-mos (the old fashion way)?

I suspect there's a blown cap around the CPU area....RMA? Asus has 3yrs warranty

I havnt had a chance to clear the cmos the old fashion way (thru bios u mean correct?) because of it shorting out like this.

I want to RMA it, I think I will here shortly, I want to see if it'll atleast boot up proerply with that little piece of paper I got lodged in there.

Save yourself the pain of going through an RMA, they take a while and a partial rebuild rebuild required. My guess is there is trouble with one of the solder contacts on that external switch, I have the same on my Rampage Extreme. Keep the paper wedged and you should have no trouble with it again, if you do now you know where to fiddle.

Yeah, this is true, however I think my CAT 7 mouse's laser is dieing, or my Mobo's USB port is not giving out enough power, therefore I think I will RMA the entire thing + my mouse so I can just fix both of these problems. I hate thinking about that paper slipping out while im in the middle of a match or in GW2 and im the tank for an important boss. I would probley end up throwing my computer thru my apartment 3rd story window at that point.
