Battlefield 3 problems for me, solution?

Hey guys was wondering if this is a graphics card issue. My graphics card is updated to the latest but for some reason weapons and players disappear. They come back for a split second but quickly disappear again. As you can see this issue also happens, with the whole out of body experience. I can still move in that state but my body is torn like that there. I can run the game on low-medium smooth, no low fps drops when my weapons disappear and I fire I still see the bullet holes pop up were my cross hair is. This is kinda funny and the game is still fun for me but I would like to be able to shoot at things that are not in a vehicle. Yes only time I can see someone is when they are in a vehicle.

Hummm i had a similar issue when i first tried playing on my laptop if i had to guess the problem lies with direct x.

I did a few other things but the thing i think that fixed it was using the install that is in the programfiles86\origingames\battlefield3\install. Note that file path is at the top of my head so i could be wrong... however there is a folder in the bf3 that has dx11 installation (note the one you would get from microsoft site wont work) When i get the chance ill post the actual directory but i hope this helps.

I just wished they fixed the crashing issue....

also if you get really annoyed and it still doesnt work bust out the infrared. that will work in place (confirmed). lol


this also fixed some other issues as well but yeah hope i helped

Thanks a ton L. Installing the Directx11 from Origin fixed my problem. But yeah that crashing issue is starting to annoy me too, but also thanks for the infrared tip. Never thought of doing that, haha.

And D00b that is absolutely hilarious, I never noticed that. Haha he is riding a bike. Haha

Haha thought I would upload another picture, L your solution worked for one whole match, but since then that happens again. Its weird though because in single player this issue isnt present, so it is just with mp

Sorry for triple posting but I have found out that this is a bug not a graphics issue. So i am relieved I do not have to spend more money on this Dell computer to fix this

that is the battlefield main forum website I guess so the devs have to of seen it, since so many people have the issue. I guess it is a problem with lag sometimes, hopefully they fix this soon.
