What Does Everyone Do For A Living?

Some may be surprised by this but I'm a preschool co-teacher. 15 four year olds is my class. Have to have two teachers for certain numbers of kids. The best part is I work in a high income area so its a nice place with awesome kids.

Dream job would be to create and write a TV show. I'm a English major with a focus on creative writing so I hope obviously hope to become a writer. If I fail at that I would probably try to be a book editor or something along those lines.

Dream Dream job would be Professional TV Show Watcher or Astronaut

This explains the essays! :p

bastard my dream job is a p.e teacher in either high school or middle school. i used to do a lot of creative writing but my teachers all said i sucked (not literally just by majorly critiquing everything i wrote, EXEPT for 8th grade when i was 1 of 4 kids who got perfect on a practice state scorE BAM)

I'm comfortable with what I'm doing, but I would like put my computer engineer degree to better use and move into a more programming oriented job rather than IT support/Sys Admin support. I'm not sure how I would go about finding a pure Software Engineering position as I've spent the last few years in IT support.
Do you want to design or just be a code monkey? I broke out of IT Support via networking - my old classmates got me interviews, and I chose the R&D route. If you want to do the full dev lifecycle, look for a small company. You're only 2 yrs in, so it's not hard to find an entry-level SWE position. Don't stay too long in IT support unless you want to be there a while.
semiconductor engineer.
Which company do you work for? Got any openings? hehe
a cubicle would of been the death of me as would a manager (unless you're the CEO or self-employed there is always a manager) standing over me each day.
I've been fortunate to have managers that let me do my thing (no micro-managing). I recently passed up a supervisor position because I got tired of managing people. They hired a new guy to supervise us, but he was micro-managing so much that he ended up quitting after only 2 months, lol.

I am a recording engineer, and the engineer part is generous. I also go on tour quite a bit, but I'd stay at home if it didn't so well to leave.
