Well, finally did it

yah, that corsair tx is a nice deal. how old is your current PSU? if its not too old, i think it should last you a bit longer

dude, those "new" parts are nearly as old as your old parts. wut da feezy? lol.
 
They are old parts, but they blow my current system out of the water.

Frankly all I play is CS so I don't need an i7 and two massive video cards. I want to improve my GO experience and increase my productivity in windows on a budget, so this is my compromise for now, until I get out of school and can afford a properly overpowered machine
 
Your setup is good. I almost have same, except I have a Nvidia 465GT(X?). My 965 is O'Clocked to 4.0GHz. Just up the multiplier, and if it acts up during gameplay or torture test, give it a little more voltage.
 
well ive been using a corsair 650 tx for a few years now. its awesome. you know, aside from the fact its not modular. but still~!
