SSD upgrade HELP!

I have read many articles on the ssd topic... The ocz vector and the Samsung 840 pro are at tye top of the list

Most sites put the 840 pro on top for sustained throughput and reliability

With current SSD's, you won't really notice the difference between RAID-0 vs a single drive, especially w/ day-to-day tasks.

Headache? I've been running RAID-0 SSD's for several years now, starting with the original OCZ Vertex1's - no headaches at all. I keep several backups of my arrays, in case anything goes down (both live and offline/offsite). Most of my arrays don't even have TRIM, just the onboard GC that runs every few months when I leave them at BIOS startup overnight.

As for which one? it's really up to you. If you're a hardware junky/speed demon, go RAID-0. If you're rich, RAID-0 two of those 512GB drives, lol.

nah, dont do raid 0, just get the bigger one (512gig for games, etc) with a 128gig for OS only. That's how I have mine setup, boot time is like 5 seconds, you can't get much faster then that, im running a 256 for games and a 128 for OS, both samsung pro's

Samsung's magician software is fucking amazing too
