Smartwatches: Anyone thinking of buying?

I pulled the trigger on a basic I'mWatch Color Black back in January, and expect it to arrive in mid September (somewhere under $400 USD). I'm pretty stoked about it and can't wait to open the shipping parcel once it arrives from Italy.

Anyone thinking of picking one up? What brand or competitor of I'mWatch are you looking at?

Thoughts about smartwatches? Personally can't effing wait to get mine. Even if I can only answer calls and get/read email notifications.

Those are some nice watches man!
I haven't worn a watch in almost a decade now...I don't really need a watch since I have a smartphone. :)
But if I were to get a watch, I'd go RADO, but damn, those watches look nice too.

Yea I can't wait for this thing to come in. It's just taking eons to get here since they just started shipping this last month.

The main thing I care about is being able to triage emails by watch, and answer quick phone calls with it while it's tethered to my phone. You can also listen to mp3's, but I figure some bluetooth headphones paired with the phone would suffice. At my old job I would get like an email per 5 min on avg so I think it would be nice to just look down at a watch and decide if it's an email that needs immediate attention or not when you're afk. Also would like to see calendar notifications on it too, so I'll never miss another meeting again! lol.

Anyway, when it comes, I'll take a quick video and post it. I'm just gunna say this now, the only drawback I foresee is that it will be slow (only 128mb of RAM), and it would be nice to have a front facing camera on it. OH WELL.

I'll keep yas posted!
