What's new

President Trump

@Fasttrak : I agree with the policy changes. I disagree about the accuracy of the history there.

Technically, America's first freedoms are - Right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Property. The three basic tenets of American freedoms in the preamble of our Constitution. All specific rights are subsequent to that. Alternatively, the right to petition and redress your grievances against your government of the 1st Amendment would be our first assuming the preamble is too general to be counted.

You are arguing against a quote, not my words. And it was by way of the gun this country found the freedom to build on the tenets that are the frame work of the Constitution. These tenets go hand-in-hand, by way of the gun did we secure a future where the rest were able to flourish.

Then I am arguing against the quote. Wasn't sure where the quote ended :p

According to my uncle, who used to be an administrative judge dealing with refugees seeking asylum in Canada, it is not.

One of the most difficult countries in the free world to get citizenship. Also, one of the few countries that has taken in literally zero refugees since the Syrian war conflict. Even a marriage to a Canadian comes with tons of paperwork and years to complete, they do not make it easy.

I have to tell you guys something. After a couple of days of ugliness spewed throughout Facebook by people I would've considered the nicest people on any other day, I was hesitant to see what e-riot might be going on in a gaming forum. While I should know better by now, you guys still impress me keeping things civil and maintaining level-headed thinking.

About the only thing I found humorous in the last couple days might give you all a chuckle, or maybe not...

@A-Rich - There's a good reason for that. Even though I don't agree with everyone here politically all the time, I think we're brothers enough to respect each other for their opinions and at least listen to the other person and not call them "a basket of deplorables."

Besides, we're all deplorables.
