What's new

possible isp switch...

i made the switch from att to comcast about 5 years ago. speed was the issue. price is high as we subscribe to cable, broadband and phone, plus a second hd box in our bedroom, but obviously, you can get cheaper than our cadillac level package. (lol) we've had issues with having to return hd cable boxes and wi-fi modems which can be extremely annoying, but as i live near a sub-station (i know there's another word for it, just can't think of it right now), our speed has always been A+. customer service can be hit or miss, but as long as you can get past the tier one folks, you should be good.

not great, not terrible. you should be fine, imho

I've had decent experiences with cable (Comcast and Time Warner). Customer service has actually been decent (except for during a service outage when they accidentally disconnected my service and it took two days to fix). Good speeds, promotional pricing usually lasts over the one year they quote you. To be fair I have no other option in this town...but so far so good on cable with me.

Lets see I never experienced Comcast but if I remember right I read somewhere that Comcast has a limit cap to your internet usage to 300gb or so. Also Cox and TW are both pretty shitty ISP imo the throttling and drop issues are nothing but headaches. Theres no Google fiber, Verzion or any other ISP tho huh?

Edited: Yup Comcast does cap your internet.
