OmniPrezident
The 47 Ronin
I've got the cpu OC pretty much down. The CPU can really take a beating and still stay cool, even with just air cooling, at least for a decent amount of gameplay. I OC'd from 3.4 -> 4.8 no problem. I also found that the bios I have will OC the ram to keep up with the core speeds, so I don't really need to worry about ram at the moment, until I feel the need to fine tune.
Just as a note, I didn't see any increase in FPS for CSGO, which brings me to my next point...
The next thing I need to figure out is what to OC the gfx card to. This gfx card is where I always run into trouble. Just fyi I'm running an ASUS GTX 570 1280 DDR5, at stock GPU speed which is 742 MHz, and Memory at 950 MHz.
Downloading gfx card OC program > More reading...
Edit:
Ha... 4.8 was too high. Blue screened!
Also, my GPU temp is pretty high, like 75C. I'm not sure if I want to try pushing it until I get a real cooling system!
