What's new

OFFICIAL STAR WARS VII thread

i concur... but from what i've seen recently, with his live action Star wars stunt (JJ ABRAHMS charity stunt,) and the pictures leaked from millenium falcon shoot, he's staying away from CGI a good amount, and it seems like hes making a really good effort (who knows what it will finish out to be but i'm hoping like you, it goes back the the original 3)

Dude what are you talking about, CGI is the shit. Every movie from now on should just be called "Transformers 3, attack of Michael Bay's two inch dick, plus however much CGI filler 500 million dollars can buy."

Go fuck yourself Michael Bay.

Harrison Ford broke his leg during filming. X_x''

Looks like the rule of two is starting early in the franchise... Lol

first 3 Star Wars is probably what got me into science fiction in first place. Every 4-5 years i watch the old trilogy and can still enjoy to this day. Watching anacan whineee through the other movies was tough, but i still came out enjoying the new ones as well. I was sad when thought Star wars was over for good. A reunion of Han, and Luke to open this up for future stories and new jedi shit is like a dream come true for me. lmao. can't wait. I didnt mind the new Star Trek movies and regardless of who directing this, I feel this is last opportunity to bring in the old actors and properly continue the franchise. Im just hoping for the best.

... I like LOTR..dont care much for the hobbit but i still went to theatres and had good time.

I like Abrams. If you watch special features from the first Star Trek, he shows how he uses low tech methods to get cool shots and not overrun budgets. I think he's a good choice for doing this. Not to mention, Disney has done a good job with the Marvel franchise since acquiring it, and I'd like to think they'll do the same with Star Wars now that they own Lucas Film.
