Not many follow Sports I guess around here.
Here are my thoughts:
Patriots:
Thank god the Patriots landed Revis, even if it's for a year, I am sure we can work something out to keep him in NE for a while. He brings a different level of toughness and play making ability.
I am sure the Patriots are not done, they will be adding few more key pieces before the draft.
Denver:
They dominated the FA, signing Talib, Ware, Ward, wow, they are loaded now, now they are hoping to bring back DRC, but I don't think that will happen now since they don't have enough money to pay the guy.
The real question is, what will the Broncos do once their 3 seconds are up? They still need to address their issues on the offensive line, linebacker and possibly safety.
Dallas:
The true losers of the offseason, this is what happens when you wait until the very last moment, you start cutting your best players to make room for cap. It would be interesting on how they manage things next year, I know Dez Bryant contract is coming up, and I am sure that guy would want a big ass contract to stay where he is, otherwise he will be shopping. Jerry Jones, your move now.
Seattle:
They lost few key players, Golden Tate going to the Lions is huge, Doug Baldwin has not been consistent, will he able to take over the role of #2? Kearse is a rising star, the question is, will he be able to have good production for the whole season? We know they have Percy Harvin and Lynch, but how long can beast mod keep being beast mode? He is entering his 8th year in the league, and honestly that's a lot of mileage for a RB these days, especially the way he runs. Eventually someone needs to be the workforce for that RB team so they can have a french Lynch come the playoff time.
Also Red Bryant is gone, it's a huge blow for that interior line, the guy can easily draw double teams, now we don't know what they will do.
Clemons is gone, but that role can be easily be filled by Bennett and Avril and those guys are beasts when it comes to pass rush, but they need someone to be able to play 60 minutes, and I don't think either Bennett or Avril can play for 60 minutes stopping the run and rushing.
49ers:
Some questionable signing, first they trade a pick for Gabbert? WTF?
Second, they cut Rogers, so they need someone to take over that position, is Brock the answer? Who knows.
Kaep contract is coming up, he wants big money, that's stupid, he can be replaced easily, that team defense should be #1 priority, that could be a possible reason why Jim brought Gabbert, in case Kaep goes elsewhere.
Tamba Bay:
I think this team is going to be the dark horse this year, they are going to look good this upcoming year, they have some young talented guys on that roster, they just need the right chemistry and this team could be the next Panthers team of 2014.
Raiders:
Quiet season this year for the Raiders, they are mostly stacking that O-Line for Pryor, who knows what it will happen, but they need a good O-Line to give Darren Mcfadden a chance. I think this team has potentials being great, they just need that O-Line fixed for the run and pass.
Bears:
Lastly the Bears, who knows wtf they are doing this off season, sounds like this franchise doesn't know what to do at this point, they can't do shit, they will most likely miss the playoffs, the Bears need to fix many holes, and I think it will take them another year or two to address them via FA & Draft.
