Oh, I know you weren't - I just can't speak for SoCal, lol. We actually get a lot of migrations from California up here for some reason though - you'd think the rain would turn 'em away...
 
Cost of living that bad? It's not exactly fantastic up here either because of all the major tech companies up here plus Boeing.
 
First off welcome to the forums and to the community! We base a lot of our decisions on activity and well as the ability to get along with others in the clan in addition to other pub regulars. The recruitment process is not a super fast one and usually we don't accept members that haven't been in the pub and on the forums for awhile but it does seem as though you are popular amongst the guys which bodes well for you. I don't recall ever seeing you but that does not mean a whole lot. Like I just stated we do expect a good amount of activity on the pub as well as the forums and keep in mind that this is not a fast process... what I can say is keep doing what your doing and stay active so that we know your not a here today and gone tomorrow guy, not to say that your are, and we will keep your application open through out this process. I am sure that if you talk to any of the guys here they can give you a good idea on what is expected.
 
Most Seattle transplants are SF Bay Area "non-tech" guys who move up there because it is similar, but the cost of living is not as bad yet. I'm pretty sure they said the same thing when Microsoft got big.
 
Thanks for the welcome, Nut and I don't plan to be a fly-by-night player/visiter - so no worries there. I've got the patience of a saint so take yer time with my app. In the meantime I'm just gonna keep doin what I'm doing 'n have fun on the server with everybody.

Jorge: man, I honestly didn't think cost of living was that much different from SoCal. It's already high enough up here imo - lol

My poor head... but I shall forgive (and repay when opportunity presents itself) said head shots. I shall consider them a loan to be paid w/ nominal interest - lol
