ugh, used prices need to drop more, lol. s2k? just saw one get spanked at irwindale 1/8 mile, by an ice cream VAN, lol.
Some people can't drive =( …they think just cause they have a roadster they can do whatever they want and don't know the limits of their own car. Makes me sad, such waste of a brilliant car. Most of them end up being salvaged =( cause the car is always wrecked! Stupid people ! and then they blame it on the car.
That car is a complete driver's car no aid whatsoever - no traction control , no vehicle stability control, nothing! Pure bliss to drive thought ( drove my friends), but I'm still learning to drive a manual…wish someone would teach me cause starting uphills is difficult for me and takes a while to get going even on a stop sign or signal.
all my cars have been stick. hills are easy, just release the clutch to its "g spot" (when the car starts to go without you pushing the gas) while still pressing the brake. once at that magical spot, give it gas quickly as you release the clutch. some people will use the e-brake if they don't trust themselves or are too slow with the gas.…wish someone would teach me cause starting uphills is difficult for me and takes a while to get going even on a stop sign or signal.
If you're here in San Jo, I would give you a lesson. Release the the clutch to "bite" then give it gas a little to keep the engine from stalling. When you feel it starts to move, release the clutch all the way. Use the gas to control speed (or rpm) to the next gear. Sometimes, if the hill is steep, I press on the gas and hold then release the clutch gently until it bites, more gas then release clutch all the way. Just do what you have to do to keep from stalling the engine.
My daily driver is a stick, but I feel I never master it like others. This guy is pretty good. I watched all his videos and learned a lot from this kiddo:
