k so basically, the bases are on the corners of the map, bottom left and bottom right, you can be either side, its a fully online multiplayer game.
the red dots are enemy units etc, all the little orange/yellow/red dots and stuff in all the trees where the paths arent at, are called the forests, where you can go kill random creatures for xp and gold to get items and level up...
now theres a top path/lane... a middle path/lane and a bottom path/lane... there are usually 5 people on each team.. one takes middle, 2 take each lane, and depending on what heros are chosen, some are made to just stay in forest so you can have one of the double lanes go solo for more xp/gold.
in each lane, there are 3 towers for each side that you must get passed to get to the "barracks" at the end of the lane (the towers are the big square nodes in the path/lanes).. when you take out the barracks, your side of the map will spawn stronger creatures that continuously come spawn and path down the lane every 15 seconds or so.
your character starts at level 1, and can go up to level 25 in each match... each character/hero in the game which there are over 60? has 4 SKILLS... each of those skills can be leveled 4 TIMES, unless your playing league of legends but I wont get into that.... ONE OF THOSE SKILLS, is called your ultimate, which is more than usual the characters most powerfull skill which does something extraordinary compared to the other skills. and that skill can be leveled 3 times and only at levels 6/11/16...
you get gold for killing the other team and for getting the last hit on a creeps health... and with that gold, you can go back to your base and purchase items that make your character buffed up (main goal besides leveling)
thats basically it. I could be missing something, but that sounds all about right.
