Why we should unban you: I just recently got home from school and I let my roommate use my steam to play some games on it. He recently joined the server of 47Ronin csgo server or something like that and decided to use cheats.. I told him never to use my account to cheat because sometimes I stop by and play on your guys server but he forgot and I guess your punk buster automatically detected him cheating and then banned him from the server? I don't know if it's possible for a unban but it's not hard to try right? I hope you guys get back to me on this .
 
Please be patient our admins will make a decision soon and will let you know,thank you for taking the time and bring this to our attention and also we hope to see you around more often if this matter is solved.
 
While it may not have been you at the time, it is your account and you're responsible for it and what happens on it. Just saying.

I'm not one of the people who ultimately make the final decision but I'm sure you'll hear more of what I just said above from some other admins.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by, and I'm sure a decision will be made soon.

Well you gotta do what you gotta do to satisfy your roomies . He's the homie so I wouldn't mind him playing on my account . I just hope to get unbanned so i can get some pubs going on with ya
 
I'm the trusting sort so i believe your story. Honestly I can see that happening. If it were entirely up to me I would unban you and let you know that we will be watching everything you do in the server every time we see you. Dont let your friend use your computer and do stuff like that. make some boundaries.

Anyway thats just what I think. I may have a little influence but I dont make the final decision and Ice isnt one to risk letting a hacker back on the server and I dont think thats a position that can really be argued against or disagreed with.

Just know that if you get unbanned that you will be on a short leash. If we dont unban you im sure you understand why and wont get to upset.

The ban will stand, it's your fault for not securing your account. You are sharing your account, you are putting yourself at risk when you give someone else your login.
Sounds like your friend could just log into your account anytime and just do the same shit over and over again, we are not as forgiving when it comes down to cheats.
At the end of the day, it's your buddy and it doesn't seem like you have done anything else to avoid this from happening again.

Also your ID was submitted to the Sourcebans database automatically, this means if other sourceban servers update their database with the master SB bans database, then you are pretty much screwed with your steam account. (Only if they update)

You live and learn from your mistakes, good luck finding a new server.
 
Thats too bad. Happened to me too long time ago when i forgot to logout my account on my friends computer. He used it and abused it. Thats a lesson learned from me. You can never trust anyone specially with personal stuff.

Classic "dog ate my homework". No sympathy for things like this. I personally don't believe the story. I'm sure you knew what was going on. Thanks for the concern though.
