I think participating in competitive community tournaments would be very good publicity for this clan

i spent a good 3 hours pubbing in other servers, some hosting competitive tourneys.

i'd love to see some of you guys commit to it. 47r has some boss ass players, i'll name @CutScene and @ace ninja @Col. Gaspar

if you all could make some time i think that'd kick some serious ass

not sure how to solve the problem of the server being empty during mid-day, but it sure couldn't hurt. plus this sounds awesome.

i think i posted one of this but not much reply. as it look not much can really commit to it

Did you really say cutscene??? lol
Does he still play?

Ha! This is a joke right... I have seen like 10 post over the last 2 years about this.... which would get like 2 responses that said yes I would be willing to do this. To do competitive play you need at a minimum 7 people who are dedicated to playing.... 5 starters and 2 back ups cause someone always has something going on and at time several people have something going on. A competitive team really needs like 10 people to be honest.... or like I said before 7 that are willing to be on almost everyday. This was very hard to accomplish when CSS was very popular... as i recall we had like 8 guys and would still have to find ringers at times to practice because of peoples work and life schedules.... and we still ran into problems at match time, which everyone knew about and agreed to show. Its one thing to say you want to play and it is a total other to actually be there day in and day out willing to play or even not play. Sometimes you will have everyone and others have to sit and wait for a spot to open up, and at other times you will have 3 and have to find 2 ringers. Most don't want to sit the bench and watch the rest of the team play. In a perfect world everything is perfect.

Oh not to mention you will need 2 guys to work on strats your team can practice that knows competition play and also know how to find and set up matches, find ringers, ect... or just Ace Ninja and 1 guy that can learn from Ace on how to do these things. Not trying to shit all over your post but it is a lot of time and work buddy and you need the dedication of many not just a few.

i think you guys are taking it a bit too literal. my previous game i had 2 different arena teams of 8 players that got together once a week for the big stuff, and practice we did was not scheduled, it was just who happened to be online, you don't need a full group, just periodically play some matchmaking with 3+

tons of communities do little tourneys with prizes and such, nobodys saying you gotta go play the equivalent to CAL.
