Car's audio system gutted by a night thief

WHY WOULD YOU DO SUCH A THING? I THOUGHT STEALING CAR AUDIO SYSTEMS WERE SO 1990s. FML.

on a lighter note: they didn't take the car.

That sucks. And it's not just the deck, but having to get the car repaired (ex. broken window), possibly paying for the rental, and the feeling of having your stuff violated.

Apparently no one wants my 1998 stock tape deck.

Damn that sux... yah, that violated feeling really sux. My car was broken into my senior yr of college, and all they got was my cd case full of burned CDs, my old Nike jacket, and my backpack with a $100 physics book in it. The damn window cost $200 to replace!

Reminds me of my homie in HS... they broke his window to jack his deck. He was raging like, "why the fuck did they break the window?!?! they could've just opened the door! the locks dont work!!!! grrrr" lol... this was in his driveway, too.

The only time I had a stereo stolen was when I was 18. I lived in a ghetto part of Phoenix, south Phoenix, and I had a pos old ford escort hatchback I bought for 500 bucks. It was missing one of the small side mirrors because I broke it to get in one night when I locked my keys in it, yes I was very smart at 18. I had a pos stereo in it I had bought for 50 bucks. One morning I went to my car for work and someone had broken in (reached in the window I had broke and unlocked the door) and stolen the 50 dollar stereo. Wasn't a big loss or anything but kinda funny since I know that it was a 50 dollar stereo and the cd player didnt even work. Joke is on him!

Seriously, if they don't bother stealing the car, it'd sometimes be cheaper to leave the doors unlocked rather than getting a window replaced. :(
I took all the garbage/papers in my car and threw it in a box in the backseat and they broke in to steal that. So, I had to get a rental & window replacement for them stealing my garbage.

Dude that sucks some donkey dee, well we can will 1,000 fleas of a camel to infest his bed...

I could not help but laugh because it had to be a crackhead to steal a box of papers and garbage.
