What's new

Audi A6

Good cars with a reasonably high repair cost and even maintenance costs are going to be double or triple your average Japanese or Domestic vehicle. They tend to hold resale pretty close to BMW and Mercedes but not quite as good yet a lot better then the competition from the US and JPN. Never driven an A6, I have driven an A8 and an S3, good cars but not cheap to buy or own.

What do you think? any feedbacks that I should be aware of?

thanks!

If you're looking for cars in those price range a BMW is better choice. Plus they got the free no cost maintenance. For an A6 you can get an 4 series or 5 series for $4k more.

A? no no no... you want the S... or RS... :p The drive and handling between the audi and equivalent bimmer is very similar, in my experience. Bimmers hold their value better, but are overpriced to begin with. Both are expensive to maintain.

Go for the A6... we were "this close" to buying one over our Explorer last year... but the fact that closest Audi dealership is hour away kinda put us back on the market...then just went big with the SUV. But man that A6 is quite a nice piece. AND it gets 31mpg freeway,
that one you posted is TITS... Prestige package and the 3.0 supercharged. I say get it. It's a $65k car new.

Or for the same money, get a different Honda or Toyota for each day of the week, maybe a rainbow of colors to coordinate w/ the day's clothes.

Car looks to be in excellent shape. If you are not sure about reliability, buy a maintenance warranty to cover it.
