I don't know how many of you guys own a Lenovo but I just read about this from AVG.
A bloatware from Lenovo called Superfish can be potential program for hackers to hack into your pc/laptop.

This only applies to products shipped between Sept. 2014 and February 2015.

It also only applies to consumer models. Lenovo has issued a patch to disable the program and is providing steps on their website on how to remove. There is also a program that gives Windows 8 a start menu that you should also remove. It's Web store links you to more programs from the developer. Most people uninstall this after about 8 minutes of use.

Lenovo has said that going forward only in house software, used for updating drivers and checking warrantee, will be installed. Other software will just be drivers and necessary software for the machine to work.

lenovo is just the public hardware arm of the Chinese Ministry of State security theyre well known for being mal hardware so much so that the Australian government, atrisk of diplomatic/economic repercussions, public announced that government workers and agencies should not use lenovo for the above stated reasons.

TLDR Lenovo is never to be trusted dont buy their malhardware

It is best to FORMAT everything bought from the store with OS pre-installed. It kinda goes with the default, ain't it?
