Another reason why PS4 > Xbox 1

You can basically hot swap your HDD with the PS4 easily, with the Xbox 1, not so easy because 90% of the users won't be able to take the console apart without voiding the warranty.

500gb is just not enough these days, I am planning to add 1TB HDD to my PS4, I might even consider adding 1TB SSD Drive when prices drop further down....

You should replace the thermal paste too. I replaced mine and I'm getting like 5-10c lower temps (not to mention my paste was dry from the factory). The ssd though gets some better load times, but it depends on games. Mgs had an 8sec difference between 7200rpm hdd and ssd. And on other games 10ths to 100ths of seconds time difference. Ps5 might be out by time time 1tbssd is in the affordable range.

Like everyone would actually open up their systems and void their warranty to do that...

Maybe not everyone, but I feel the need to tinker improve and fend off planned obsolescence. Besides I've almost had my ps4 a year now and its warranty is almost expired (if not voided by me). I went through 2 ps3s and 7 xbox 360s the previous gen. I don't want to keep calling support. As a fellow desert dweller (Arizona) I try and keep the gaming room cool. In case you get curious and want to replace the paste here is the video i used in march.
 
If I was to buy a console, I'd have to get Xbox1 because of Forza 5, unfortunately. No choice. Gran Turismo sucks.
 
Idk. I have more fun playing Forza games than Gran Turismo.
The movements and animations on Gran Turismo is a bit dull.
I like the lighting and the details on Forza 5
I had the chance to play both, I just didn't like GT very much.
Maybe the Aesthetics, sounds or UI has to do with it.
Not bad for a current gen though.
If they had either on PC, I wouldn't have to deal with
Assetto Corsa. Now I wait for Project Cars on PS4.
I had a blast playing Gran Turismo 5 on g25 a few years back.
