2014 NFL Playoff Predictions?

FieldGoalAlmostBlocked.gif

The guy was offsides so it wouldn't of mattered if he blocked it, but still funny for a game winning kick.

as a seahawk fan, i respect niners full on, and GJ on the win.

Seahawks will beat the saints (i can't say it'll be a beatdown, the saints can adjust, it will be a tough win)

but if SF plays SEA in SEA, it will be (i think) the game of the decade, a hard fought one. but in the end my final prediction after the wild card rounds is:::

The San Diego Chargers vs. The Seattle Seahawks ON THE EAST COAST! GL everyone, and may my hawks dominate over all of you :)

there's no way san diego is going to beat denver and then either the pats or indi. not happening.

San Diego already beat Denver this season and that was in Denver. I actually give San Diego a pretty good chance. I also believe that IND wont get lucky like they did last week when KC lost 3 key players to injuries

lol @ me - i'm 1-3, too. well, if i'm gonna get one right, thank God it was the 49ers game! :troll-94:

btw, holy shit SD, nice game! i take back all the mean things i said about you. my bad, bruh. (that's California-speak for all you foreigners in the other 49 states ;) )

as for KC... what a fucking COLLAPSE! dude, Alex Smith is still one of my favorite players (mostly because he's so damned classy) and he absolutely showed up on Saturday... too bad the much-earlier-in-the-season vaunted defense didn't. lol

NO/Phi? geat game that could've gone either way. was expecting more inclement weather but gg to the Saints. they really pulled it out in the end (har, i said pulled it out in the end!)

so for next week:

NO v Sea - as much as i'd LOVE to have one last home game at Candlestick (Sea would have to lose and SF would have to win their respective games), i don't think NO is gonna beat a well-rested Seahawks team which MAY have a Percy Harvin sighting at some point, post-kick-off. in fact, it could get ugly for the Who-Dat's, fast.
- Hawks win

SD v Den - this one was completely unexpected (by me, anyway lol)... and given SD has already beaten Denver once this year and Peyton is notoriously shakey in the post-season, it seems like a true toss-up to me... buuuuuuuuuut, i just can't ignore the league MVP in this one (sorry Surrender) - Broncos win

Indy v NE - Indy is scrappy, man. to come back from a 28 pt deficit in a single half to win? in the playoffs? against a 12-4 team? balls. big. brass. balls. but Tom-Terrific has had a week off (he's been spending his time getting sacked gratuitously by Giselle, I hear) and they'll be playing in Foxboro. - Pats win

SF v Car - this is going to be a hard-nosed, ball-busting, drag-out, kick-ass fight between two defensive juggernauts and it may just come down to offensive weapons. if so, i'll take Kaep, Boldin, Davis (concussed and out early in the first game/loss), Crabtree (on IR in the first game/loss) and Gore over Cam, a 60% Steve Smith, Olsen, Williams, LaFell and Ginn. - 49ers win

lol its fine bro. like i said before. every person on this thread could say they -think- the broncos are gonna win. it doesnt bother me. as long as the chargers arent considered a joke anymore. especially after the convincing win against the bengals.

as for the broncos game. well Peyton Manning is 0-2 in his career vs San Diego in the playoffs (just had to throw that in there lol)
and both games we played against them in the regular season this year were close. they beat us in sd 28-20, then we returned the favor and beat them in denver 27-20.
so both games were close and i dont see why this wont be as well. obviously im gonna say the chargers pull this one out. GO TEAM OF DESTINY! haahaa

as for the rest...

i agree that the pats, seahawks and niners will win.

I like and am going with all those picks Built but the DEN v SD and SF v CAR are really 50/50s for me. God damn all these games are gonna be awesome and they all have their own little side stories.

NO obviously showed they can win on the road but now they go back to where they had one of their worst losses in franchise history against those 7-9 Hawks.

Brady v Luck Is something we are gonna see alot of until Brady retires and this is the first big game between them. Pats Colts games have always been must watch and still are even with Peyton gone.

SF v CAR the two hottest teams in the league by far and similar teams at that. young running QBs with veteran RBs and great physical defense? Oh its gun b gooooood hard hittin football

And lastly what may be the best of 4 incredible games DEN v SD. When division rivals meet in the playoffs its always an extra dose of awesome especially with a season split and in the Divisional round. Peyton struggles in high pressure games and SD has always had his number even when he played for the Colts but can they really stop the greatest of all time?

God i feel like a sports writer right now but this is how freakin pumped I am for next weekend's games. Im even more pumped since i just finished the BCS championship bowl and that was also awesome. God I love football.

San Diego has a history of knocking Indy out of the playoffs in most dramatic fashion.
Honestly I don't see SD coming back and win against SD.

With that said, I am looking forward to see how the Patriots are going to deal with Andrew Luck.
The Patriots defense is decimated with injuries. Now Brandon Spikes is out of the season (playoffs I guess lol) and now we are somewhat screwed, he is a very good run stopper, especially since we don't have Vince Wilfork in the middle anymore.

Honestly I think they should move Ninkovich to middle linebacker, where I think he really excels, then put Andre Carter as left end, he can at least generate some pressure, he has not played much this year, so he should be fresh for the game to disrupt the play.
Then they should but Siliga and Sopoaga in the middle, two big guys, and at least one of them should be able to pull a double team. I don't expect them to do this the whole game, but they should be able to hold things down in the first half.

Lastly, they should put Talib in the slot vs Fleener and put Arrington on TY Hilton. Since he is the fastest cover guy we have.
Put Harmon on Rogers, another speedy guy and not afraid to go for the int.

This game will not be like last year where we put 50 burgers on the Colts this year I see it being a close game.
The Patriots need to be able to stop the Colts, if we don't stop their run and pass game, we are screwed.

Honestly with all these injuries, I didn't expect the Patriots to make it this far this year.
I truly hope the Patriots can win this game and at least get to the division championship game, where I think we would match up better vs the Broncos.
Hell, I think SD would destroy us since they have many weapons on offense.
