The game is unbearable to play after seeing my damage cut in half from 20k to 10k dps, that's a huge difference when your fighting elites and boss's. My atkspd was at 2.70 now it's 1.65.both my rings were half a mil each and now there worth about 10 pennies. Yeah.. I'll just wait for the next patch for weapons and if they don't fix well I'm done with D3 lol. Helllooo guild wars 2.
 
yeah all my gear was cut in half of the speed. i had 2.4 on my wiz now it is at 1.6. i cant even kill anything with the cut of dps also. also the repair cost is killing me. from 10 to 20k to 40 to 50k. not cheap at all.
 
Well I'm hardly even using my monk anymore since I'm in the same boat as Fuzion. i think i might end up just selling all his gear to use on my wiz... which seems like the way to go now...
 
I still love the monk, made it past siegebreaker with sdawg. Felt my tanking ability was decent, while maintaining 20k dps
 
I think they did this because the game was way too easy when you had a semi decked out character. remember how diablo 2 was? shit was hard even with a decked out character, until you had just about fucking everything, I think that's what they are going for.

Actually I take back what i said about my monk earlier. Although he WAS hard to play with i found this build here:

I switched out all my IAS gear with Crit chance and am at about 28% crit chance now with 250% crit dmg. I have a couple of 600 dps weapons with 900 life on hit and 32k health and I'm able to get through a3 fairly well now.

So all you monks out there don't get discouraged haha.
 
Monks & Barbarians since patch are now the shit when it comes down to tanking.
Sdawg could literally sit there and drink a cup of team and still not die.
