And for anyone who cares, I've played it only a few times. The first time was max settings and I had like 5 FPS on my GTX 860m. I lowered the resolution a lot and made the graphic settings low, and it still isn't as smooth as I'd like. IF you join a game before it starts, you watch a video for the class you're playing and it tells you the basics how to play, which is very helpful. So when I got in game as support, I knew I had three different weapons I could switch to. One was just a laser gun that does low damage but is a rapid fire rifle, another was a heavy damage gun that essentially calls an attack from the sky and looks like a fire explosion coming down on the monster, and the most useful tool as support is the gun that you use on your teammates that casts a little blue stream that protects them from damage. You don't heal people, their is a medic that heals, but you can protect people who're in a corner getting fucked up by monster attacks. We ended up winning my first game, I protected my teammates a lot and we killed the monster right after I used my powerful attack from the sky.

I played 4 of 5 games and support was by far the most useless, but I think that's because no one knows how to play it yet.

Maybe it's because I have a 290x, but the game ran fine for me, though sometimes it would drop to 56 fps (game appears locked at 60, at least for now). Seemed decently smooth for an alpha though.

haha I felt like I was helping out when I played support. I didn't care about taking damage myself, I just used the protection gun on people and jumped around. And I would like to think my graphics card is decent for a laptop, since it is the newer series and I just got this laptop. But as always, desktop vs laptop... Desktop will win. The only reason I don't have a desktop is because I'm in the military and know I can't bring it with me when I deploy.

why the hell would i of all people not get invited in the first wave... i am dissapoint.

Too many feedbacks = cluster fuck, that's the point of the closed beta, you select few candidates and collect all the feedbacks you can and then after they implement the adjustments they will invite more people. They would be overwhelmed with feedbacks if they allowed everyone to have the beta.

I played again and as the monster for the first time. I don't want to shit on anyone's hopes and dreams for an amazing game that's like L4D, but it really isn't fun to me. The base concept is just not appealing. You dance around trying to shoot the monster, and as the monster you run around climbing up walls trying not to get attacked by everyone at once. I would be right up in peoples faces clawing at them and it seems like I was barely doing any damage. I feel like the monster should be more deadly, but easier to kill at the same time. Everyone's defenses seem high and it drags it out. I was the kid who only played license to kill mode on goldeneye, I prefer raw reaction speed and deadly accuracy over holding down fire trying to follow your enemy, slowly working their health down.

For those of you who've seen gameplay and know what the game is like and look forward to it, it may be great fun for you. It's exactly how it looks in the videos. I hope I don't ruin anyone's day with a negative post about the game, but I don't see myself getting into it.

The game is supposed to be that way- chase the monster until he levels up, then you have to be careful. I'm going to play some more later though, maybe I will get the monster.
