That is just shameful... Police just bug the shit out of me... The ones around my area have ticket quotas, I know because my uncle is a cop, and they have to write tickets for just about anything they can... Enough said... I don't like cops in the slightest

I wouldn't blame the little guys for this though. I'm sure the higher ups are pressured into forcing them to have quotas...
 
I know there's a lot of bad apples, but I don't think we should generalize the hate for all. They're still the ones we're calling out for when something goes wrong.
You can yell out for Superman if you want, but you'll just look silly before you get mugged.

Try calling the cops and said you house has just been robbed. They will tell you we will be there in an hour or two because they are busy

i have lived in 2 quiet towns, one where the cops write up noise violations, and the other where nothing fucking happens so cops will respond to just about anything lol
 
err.. a law is a law.. that police officer could actually get in trouble for not writing a ticket... before you judge you have to try and see things from the other side. homelessness is a huge problem and it is trying to be cleaned up. also, you have no idea what their previous history is together. police officers dont have quotas either, but what they do say is if you drive a mile down the street and cant find any kind of traffic violation, you arent doing your job. people dont realize how under funded and understaffed police agencies are these days. Take las vegas for instance, right now it is roughly 1 police officer per 1200+(thats a generously low number) citizens. Las Vegas Metro PD is so busy with bullshit calls that they have to respond to, that traffic accidents are not a priority and will not be dispatched to anymore unless there is serious injury. Next time you bitch about a cop doing their job, dont call them when your house is being robbed, you just got your ass beat for having a big mouth, or you have some drunken idiot that just plowed into you going 60mph in a 30mph. Protect and serve... the cop was a dick in the video and a bit abrasive, but he was protecting and serving his community from trash because i GUARANTEE you that guy in the green shirt has//had some kind of dependent addiction, whether it being drugs or alcohol and hes asking tourists for money.

p.s. cops dont get extras or bonuses for writing tickets. they dont even see a dime of the money unless you are part of the las vegas constables office.. which will be closing in january.
