So, with that said, shouldn't the Titan now drop in price by $500?
Funny how the 780> 790...:facepalm-8:
 
Titan was obsolete, there was no need for dropping price :)

I am trying to get my funds together to get the TI. My 2560x1440 monitor is asking for that 3GB vram.
 
Titan is a niche product and will most likely not drop in price... I don't see nvidia dropping the price of the 780Ti either... Unless ati gets nasty with their prices

Titan has a short-life span, it was brought to life by the mean-green to suck the blood out of the rich ...cough* Gaspar * cough :)
No way in the world I would spend $1000 for a graphic card, $500 is my absolute limit. and that $500 better has the ($500) performance I expected.
 
Well hunter I was building a dream and by no means am I rich... I wish i was higher up at the VA by my total income from my pension and job is just over 60k... And I have two kids still paying a mortgage and a car payment... 13k in revolving debt and the cost of a divorce looming over me.... Just spent about 20k for my flat and have almost nothing in savings anymore... I'm going to spending the next year licking my wounds... I do plan on filling the servers cup every month but that will have to be it for my expenditures...

FYI I joke with people that I am good with money because I am Jewish... They laugh... Then I tell them I'm serious and put on my kippa... Lol
