Unfortunately, chinatown is too cluttered and graphically intense to run smoothly with a full server. Shame, because it's a cool map that's really different from everything else we play, but laggy maps shouldn't be tolerated. (Which goes for favela too)
Kyrenia is a big hit as far as I'm concerned, and I know several others liked it as well.
Lets get corruption and backalley into the pool since chinatown isn't going to work out.

favela does not run laggy on a full server. are you sure its not you?
Like for Season, dislike for Office.. hmmmm. perfect.
The last couple times I played it when it was nearly full, it was fine, except for the reliable lag spike at the 20 min mark (approx.). It's just very moody, so I think it's worth keeping around and hoping a patch fixes it. besides, with so many great maps now, it doesn't get played enough for that to really be an issue.
I wish you were on at better times, I can never get people to vote for any of these other maps. the only odd one people wanted one time was assault, and THAT map lags like no other.

The last time we played favela and I was present, I polled the server asking how many people were experiencing lag, and an overwhelming majority responded with yes. (Some 75%) There were several other ronin members on at the time who can verify this. I don't have anything against favela, and I actually think it's one of the better maps we play, but that doesn't change the fact that it lags the server every time I've played it.
Also, I was getting a huge amount of negative feedback regarding office, and I'm just curious whether anywhere close to a majority of server regulars even wants it back in the rotation?
I ran the ship solo for around 6 hours yesterday, and the server was jam packed the entire time. I avoided office/favela, and mostly stuck to various classics with some new blood like kyrenia mixed in now and again. Josh noted that it went particularly well.

murkcity the one poll i saw had a 53%, oh well. I swear you are bad luck on favela, it plays really well most of the time. I vote to keep it in rotation.

Most of the maps now do well, actually. It's quite nice that no matter what is picked, the game doesn't empty (unless it's getting late). Hell, even assault won't make people quit.

yeah i dont see favela lag consistently. Also any votes are going to be messed up because people spam one. I did a vote once where yes was first and it won, then the same vote with yes second and it lost.
