I played it. It's okay. It will fill a void that isn't for the PC which is a shooter RPG.
I'mma reference Destiny here because if you have played Destiny it will be along those lines of grinding and raiding.
Is it good looking? Yes.
Are the controls pretty good: Yes and no and only no because there's better 3rd person shooter controls that I have no idea why the Division isn't modeled off of because Ubisoft made the other better 3rd person shooter controls. I'm talking about Ghost Recon.
After the single player missions the only thing left for the game will be the Dark Zone.
The Dark Zone holds about 2 days of grinding fun and the rest is going to be fucking with other players.
The only reason to go to the dark zone is to pad stats in order to fuck with the other Dark Zone players.
To pad stats you will need to grind or exploit a map area with only one entrance and go rogue against other players until the other players get bored.
Is grinding fun is this game? No, it's just okay. It's the worst grinding in any other game because there isn't really much diversity. (I haven't played the whole game but the beta didn't hint that there would be).
Does your mouse skill matter in this game. No, to a very little bit.
All that matters is your gear. I can take on a squad of 4 who have shitty gear when my gear was maxed.
Is customizing your character so that other people ask about it cool? Yes.
Will it sell? Yes.
Am I buying it? Probably.
Will it be repetitive and eventually boring? Yes.
What does this game need? Honestly, this game needs zombies or crazies. It needs a factor other than rogue players in the Dark Zone because it's going to get boring.
