Midlife usually is for a sports car instead of a new wife, less hassle. I would stick to the Japanese brands though. Maybe the Infinity G's, Nissan 370z, Lexus? If you want German, how about a Porsche? You seem to be passionate and handy, so you will enjoy the upkeep.

I got to see Hunters poor Honda, he needs this Audi real bad!!

Did some reading on this model and it is pretty damned special, had me drooling over the specs and I bet it drives nicely to boot.

If you're looking new, you cannot go wrong with a new A6. I'd get an A6 over any BMW
