Sometimes a single item can cause many of the tools to not work properly.
In the next few days/weeks we will most likely move away from CentOS to AlmaLinux as you suggested since CentOS is end of life.
The tech stuff on the web community is changing very quickly.

Furthermore, here's the customer service response from my old host:
"Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the recent message on WHM about cPanel & WHM version 110 being the last version that supports CentOS 7. We understand your concerns and would like to provide you with some clarification.
Although the message may seem alarming, we want to assure you that the current version of CentOS 7 is safe and stable, and there is no need to migrate to another server at this time.
The message on WHM is simply an alert that cPanel & WHM version 110 will be the last version that supports CentOS 7. This means that future updates to cPanel & WHM may not be compatible with CentOS 7. However, the current version of cPanel & WHM should continue to work without any issues on CentOS 7.
As for your question about AlmaLinux, it is a CentOS clone created by the team at CloudLinux. It is designed to be a drop-in replacement for CentOS and provides long-term server support. While AlmaLinux is a viable alternative, we do not recommend migrating to it at this time unless there is a specific reason to do so."
But, I DO. I wanted the migration because RPM's has clashes as new versions arise, or new repositories are added. My old server rejected 60/80 repositories by the time that message was sent. Left me vulnerable.
IMHO, these hosts don't understand that these are ticking time bombs that will splat onto your face. Eventually.
