Samsung 840 Pro is the best, IMO. Since the Pro is pricey, people settle for the EVO instead. That Crucial MX100 512MB for $210 isn't a bad deal at all.

Unless you are running benchmarks, you will not see a noticeable difference between the two.
I have two SSD's on my computer and one of them was the M4 Crucial top of the line a year ago and the other one is Samsung, and I personally do not notice any major differences between the two.
