I wasn't really into "gaming" when I was much younger,
so no classic games will be mentioned. Here are some games
from the top of my head.
Counter Strike Source
-Obvious. My all time favorite. No gimmicks needed to win. Just pure point and shoot.
Splinter Cell Series
-Did a marathon with my cousins while pigging on Pizza and Pepsi in his garage until cops knocked for a noise complaint. Good times.
Red Alert Series
-Kirov Reporting! This is my favorite RTS game of all time.
Age of Mythology
-I replayed the campaign so many times with cheats
Operation Flashpoint
-My dad got into this game and we finished it together.
Tekken 3
-I remember I punched my cousin over this game. He kept spamming the damn button.
Forza 4
-Believe it or not, this is how I learned how to drift irl.
Battlefield Bad Company 1 & 2
-Me and my gf at the time played this all night with her friends.
Gunbound
-This is how I met one of my good friends.
Skyrim
-I enjoyed modding this game and added Halloween soundtracks/sounds for maximum nostalgia.
Honorable Mentions:
Minecraft
-I don't really know how to play this game, but the amount of contraptions you can make is astonishing. I've watched my 16 year old nephew do some crazy shit.
GTA: Vice City
-The RC Helicopter! And doing stunts on the PCJ600 with my cousin...so much lols.
BTW, this channel, has a nice collection of playthroughs and speed runs.
