How to add custom skins and sprays

Ok so most of you guys noticed that our sprays and custom weapon skins and etc won't work after the new Steam pipe and file conversion to .vpk extension.

Although most you guys read about the fie conversion there was a small note from Valve of how to add your spray back.


1. Go to your CSS folder and click custom.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\custom

2.From the custom folder you create a new file and call it anything. In my case I named it Ghonzo

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\custom\Ghonzo

3. Now in your folder place all your custom skins and spray but to make life easy just copy your entire Material folder that contains your spray and skins and place it in.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\custom\Ghonzo\Materials

4. For sprays you want to put it here. If you don't see logos once again create the folder and place your sprays in there.

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\yourname\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\VGUI\logos

Then start up your CSS and go to option>multiplayer>import spray> logos

And select the spray you want.

Im able to add sprays like normal, I just can not see my own or any one elses sprays in game... I can hear the sound like its being sprayed.. but nothing
